Under Sink Water Purifier
As the name implies, under sink water purifiers are installed in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. This is a purification unit that treats water directly to a pure water tap at your kitchen sink, that yields clean, pure and safe drinking water at home.
- Under sink purifiers are in-line units that are connected on to your domestic kitchen waterline.
- Untreated water passes through the purification system to the pure water tap for consumption.

RO Purifier Specifications
A six stage water treatment purifier suitable for clean water from municipal sources for under sink installation that includes:
- Three stage sediment and carbon cartridge pre-treatment
- Compact RO purification using Hidrotek/Filmtec membranes
- 10L steel storage tank
- Sink mounted output tap
- Daily outputs of 200L/day and 400L/day
- Chlorine Level less than 0.2ppm & TDS less than 250ppm
- Water Temperature 5-45 C with Inlet Water Pressure 1-3bars.

System Maintenance
To ensure the unit operates at its optimum level, routine maintenance is required. The frequency of maintenance depends on the feed water quality and amount of system usage. The following are some guidelines for scheduled filter changes, keep in mind the frequency of filter changes may vary. If in doubt, contact equipment supplier.
- Change Spun PP Filter every 3-6 months or as required
- Change RO Membrane every 18-24 months or as required
- Change Inline Carbon Filter every 6-12 months or as required
- When the unit is not in use for an extended period of time, disconnect it from power supply
- Before resuming use, perform the same flushing procedure as in the initial set up

UNDER SINK WATER PURIFIER FUNCTIONS
Removal of Bacteria
Bacteria is removed by using a ceramic cartridge. This is a finely pored ceramic diatomaceous material that provides ultra-filtration for the removal of fine particles and is particularly suitable for removal of micro-organisms and bacteria.
Mineral Removal
Excess dissolved minerals i.e fluoride, calcium and magnesium above the maximum permissible level are removed using activated carbon filters. Activated carbon works via a process called adsorption, whereby pollutant molecules in the fluid to be treated are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon substrate.
Removal of Color, Turbidity, Taste, and Odor.
This can be achieved by using activated carbon filters. Along with color and turbidity removal from water, activated carbon can absorb particles and organic matter that contribute to bad taste and odors.
